2007/46 E Marking (Vehicle Type Approval)

Although the E mark is also called the ECE conformity mark, it is a marking and certification study that indicates that motor vehicles meet the requirements of the European Union on roads within the scope of approved components. The E Certificate states that motor vehicles and trailers are in compliance with the regulations accepted under EU, UN / EEC and TR laws regarding their parts, systems or separate technical units.

The symbol for the E symbol is a capital E in a circle and a smaller number on the right, indicating the country code. The number on the right represents the assigned code numbers of the countries associated with the ECE test mark regulation control number. For example, the E1 mark on the side of a product indicates that it has a German product E certificate.

The E mark indicates that it is in accordance with the directives and Regulations by the components, parts, systems and separate technical units (European economic community, united nations). It is a safety certificate required by the European Commission to apply to motor vehicles, technical parts and systems by the European Commission on the basis of EU directives. Test Laboratories must be an organization of the European Union member country with a technical service authority. The organization that issues the E mark is the state transport sector of the European Union member country. Products certified with the E mark are accepted by all EU member countries. Equipment that moves with technical products such as e-mark, vehicle air pump, vehicle message / under floor heating cushions, vehicle fans, vehicle water heaters, vehicle charger, vehicle lamp / flasher, vehicle cleaners, vehicle energy equipment are also mandatory.

CARB Certificate

When the California Air Resources Board (CARB) adopts the “Airborne Toxin Control Measure to Reduce Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products” (“ATCM”), compliance with formaldehyde emission standards has become more important than ever. CARB Phase-2 standards are made to reduce formaldehyde emissions in composite wood products.

Procedures for CARB Certificate are as follows;

Formaldehyde emission test on wooden panels and finished products

Determining Quality Control Limits

Qualified factory staff

Review of quality control guidelines

Factory Audits

Label review for manufacturers and manufacturers

On April 26, 2007, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM), which aims to reduce formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products.

ATCM places different roles and obligations on panel manufacturers, distributors, importers, manufacturers and retailers.

The ATCM regulation consists of two emission standard stages and requires good documentation control on production quality management and formaldehyde emission standard compliance.

Manufactured products produced before the 1st and 2nd stages containing HWPW-VC, HWPWCC, PB, MDF or thin MDF may be put on the market, supplied, sold for the specified periods after the valid dates.

ATCM will be implemented by CARB or local air zone staff. Execution activities include facility audits, auditing of records, and securing samples for compliance testing.
